Dry chemical filtration deodorization equipment

Dry gas-phase chemical filtration process is a gas deep purification process that uses "dry gas-phase chemical filtration material" as the core material and "physical adsorption+chemical adsorption" as the core principle. It efficiently and selectively removes pollutants based on the characteristic substances in the target gas.

Different filter media correspond to the removal of unique characteristic pollutants. The odor substances generated by urban drainage facilities are mainly hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, ammonia, etc. The filter media used generally have three types:
(1) Hydrogen sulfide special filter material: The main chemical reaction components are magnesium oxide, iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, and the substrate is activated carbon;
(2) Ammonia specific filter material: The main chemical reaction component is phosphoric acid, and the substrate is activated carbon;
(3) VOCs and thiol specific filter media: The main chemical reaction components are sodium permanganate and potassium permanganate, and the substrate is activated alumina.

Operational principle
Dry gas-phase chemical filtration process is a gas deep purification process that uses "dry gas-phase chemical filtration material" as the core material and "physical adsorption+chemical adsorption" as the core principle. It efficiently and selectively removes pollutants based on the characteristic substances in the target gas.

Dry gas-phase chemical filter media uses porous materials as the substrate to remove harmful gases from the air through chemical absorption. This filter material is loaded with chemicals such as catalysts, oxidants, and reaction indicators, and can be flexibly matched according to the characteristics of odor and application scenarios. For odor factors, corrosive gases, or toxic gases in the air, they are first adsorbed and retained through porous materials, and pollutants are adsorbed or captured in the filter material. Then, under the action of a catalyst, they undergo oxidation-reduction reactions, acid-base neutralization, etc. with the active components of oxidants, acid-base and other chemical substances, destroying the molecular structure of pollutants and gradually oxidizing them to produce final products such as inorganic salts, water, and carbon dioxide, Ensure that once the polluted gas is removed from the environment, it cannot return to the air again, and finally release non-toxic, odorless, and non corrosive clean gas after being treated with filter media.

Different filter media correspond to the removal of unique characteristic pollutants. The odor substances generated by urban drainage facilities are mainly hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, ammonia, etc. The filter media used generally have three types:
(1) Hydrogen sulfide special filter material: The main chemical reaction components are magnesium oxide, iron oxide, potassium hydroxide, and the substrate is activated carbon;
(2) Ammonia specific filter material: The main chemical reaction component is phosphoric acid, and the substrate is activated carbon;
(3) VOCs and thiol specific filter media: The main chemical reaction components are sodium permanganate and potassium permanganate, and the substrate is activated alumina.

Deodorization performance
(1) Broad spectrum deodorization: It has a wide range of chemical adsorption and removal effects on odor components such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide, trimethylamine, and other odor substances;
(2) Deep deodorization: can remove odor pollutants to the ppb level; The treatment effect can meet the requirements of odor concentration at the outlet ≤ 200 (dimensionless) and odor concentration at the factory boundary ≤ 10 (dimensionless). According to the author's experience in odor removal projects for drainage facilities in multiple cities, it is generally necessary to ensure that the odor concentration is below 200 in order to ensure that there is no obvious odor at the outlet and achieve a more comfortable odor resolution;
(3) Stable effect: The adsorption efficiency is stable throughout the entire cycle, and there is no phenomenon of degradation in treatment efficiency; Strong resistance to impact loads; And there will be no phenomenon of "inverted import and export concentration" when activated carbon adsorbs low concentrations;
(4) Ultra large capacity: The adsorption capacity of substances such as hydrogen sulfide is greater than 45% (mass ratio);
(5) Dry and wet universal: The filter material structure is stable, not affected by air humidity, and will not experience a decrease in adsorption efficiency due to front-end pretreatment processes such as spraying or biological treatment.
The deodorization performance of dry chemical filter media is related to various factors such as the specifications and performance parameters of the filter media itself, the temperature and humidity of the treated gas, components and concentrations, and the operating conditions of the exhaust gas

Filter material performance characteristics:
(1) Filter material safety: The filter material has passed UL fire and flame retardant certification; After third-party testing, the filter material has been found to be practically non-toxic in terms of corrosiveness, leaching toxicity, flammability, reactivity, and toxic substance content;
(2) Solid waste disposal: The chemical waste after use has been identified by the national solid waste center as general solid waste, can be landfill treated, will not release absorbed gases, and there is no secondary pollution;
(3) Low wind resistance: The pressure loss of the filtration unit does not exceed 1000 Pa/m, and the kinetic energy consumption is small;
(4) Flexible structure: adopting a modular structure, completed by factory assembly, integrated on-site installation, short construction period, meeting the equipment customization requirements under different processing conditions;
(5) Long service life of filter materials: The replacement cycle of filter materials is generally designed to be 12-24 months. By using filter material life analysis technology (MLA), the replacement time can be accurately predicted.
